Episode 40 - “Bringing Sexy Back” - This week, we watched a Bill Condon movie about sex… except it wasn’t “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part I.” It was “Kinsey,” Condon’s 2004 biopic about Alfred Kinsey, the Indiana University professor who dared to discuss sex in ultraconservative 1940’s and 50’s America. Where the latest Twilight movie treats sex carelessly, “Kinsey” treats it thoughtfully; where “J. Edgar,” the movie we reviewed last week, fails to express the importance of its protagonist in American history, “Kinsey” expresses precisely why Alfred Kinsey matters. Ultimately, this little movie shows those bigger movies how it’s done.
**Sorry for the delay this week. Happy belated Thanksgiving**
